Audacity Australia is reimagining what a Hi-Fi system can be. At the Melbourne Hi-Fi Show 2025, the company is focusing on integration, connectivity, and ease of use, rather than towering stacks of gear.

This year’s showcase centres on the WiiM connected ecosystem. It also marks the debut of Jamo loudspeakers under Audacity’s Australian distribution. Ikarao karaoke systems and the Lenco L-455BK turntable are also part of the exhibit, giving visitors a full view of modern connected audio.

Connected Hi-Fi for Every Room

The Audacity room features three distinct listening zones: stereo, desktop, and multichannel. All are powered and coordinated through WiiM’s advanced streaming platform. This setup demonstrates how one ecosystem can support a variety of listening experiences.

Andrew McGregor, Partner Manager at Audacity Australia, says the goal is to inspire customers to explore what’s possible:

“The latest WiiM gear shows just how much power and fidelity you can get from a connected system. The Amp Ultra – 100 watts per channel into 8 ohms – paired with the new Jamo floorstanders delivers high-quality audio that’s both accessible and easy to use.”

Show Highlights

WiiM AMP Ultra + Jamo C605 MK II
The main setup features the compact WiiM AMP Ultra driving Jamo C605 MK II floorstanders. This combination blends sonic performance with smart control and marks Jamo’s first public showing under Audacity’s new distribution agreement.

Dolby 5.1 Without an AVR
WiiM’s Dolby 5.1 surround setup uses WiiM streamers, a WiiM Sub Pro, and multi-device coordination. It delivers accurate, immersive audio without a traditional AV receiver.

Lenco L-455BK Turntable Integration
In the desktop zone, Jamo’s C707 PA active bookshelf speakers show off their versatile inputs. A Lenco L-455BK turntable connects directly via the built-in RIAA phono stage. HDMI ARC also brings TV audio into the same compact system.

Stylish Bass Performance
Jamo’s Cube wired subwoofer adds depth without dominating the room visually, combining subtle style with strong low-end output.

WiiM Home TV App
The WiiM Home TV app, shown on a Sony Android TV, allows full system control through the TV interface. There’s no need for a separate tablet or phone.

Adding Entertainment with Ikarao

Audacity is also introducing the Ikarao Break X1. This portable wireless karaoke system packs 800W of power, a 6.5” woofer, 107dB SPL output, and a 13.3” HD touchscreen. It is designed for fun, but it is also engineered for performance.

Room 1203 – The Future of Accessible Hi-Fi

By combining WiiM’s software-driven platform, Jamo’s modern loudspeaker design, Lenco’s turntable heritage, and Ikarao’s entertainment technology, Audacity Australia is showing that Hi-Fi can be powerful, connected, and approachable.

The Melbourne Hi-Fi Show runs from August 29–31, 2025. Visit Audacity Australia in Room 1203.
